Ours is a flatscreen located in 4" deep recessed area on the living room slide. It's mounted using a typical "cheap" flatscreen mounting bracket. It's "cheap" in that it's a plain bracket - with no telescoping arm or pull away. You simply "lift" the TV straight up to unmount it from the bracket.
If you need to "see" behind your TV - try taking a picture of it with your cell phone with the "flash" enabled. You might see enough to figure out which way you need to move it to free it from the mount.
Ours is like that, too. The bracket runs almost the entire width of the TV. On one end you may find a screw or two holding the wall section of the bracket to the TV section of the bracket. It is a two person job lifting the TV down as someone need to unplug the coaxial cable and electricity before it will come down.
