Owners Manual
Just joined this forum, have enjoyed reading as we settle in with our 1996 National Tropical 235....
We have had some issues, most of which we have figured out...We were advised to obtain an owners manual but the links in this thread only point to 2005 manuals, the National RV club has no manuals and we cannot find any either online or for sale...can anyone help us please?
Thanks,
Sandy

Your best bet is to go to each individual equipment website and see if they have the manuals. Water heater, furnace, frig, airconditioners....etc. Even the chassis, Ford, Chevy, etc.
You may now know that most if not all of the 'owners' manuals are generic in nature. Even some I've owned used different coach pictures for things like holding tank draining and winterization.
Hopefully someone who has one like you and has the manuals will help out. IF not, you'll need to start your own compilation.
Also, your 1996 Tropical probably has a 1995 chassis. Most are like that...they buy a lot of chassis and use them as they build. OUr 2019 has a 2018 chassis and engine.
Best of luck.

Here's a link to a 1996 National Dolphin manual and the models are near identical. The Tropical is a bit more upscale but otherwise very much alike.

Depending on what you want to know, the owner manual may be little or no help. The National RV manuals weren't totally generic - they usually covered dashboard switches and such - but they were very light on other aspects.

Sandy,
Just as CC38EL stated. Start compiling manuals for the systems in your motorhome. Most parts are off the shelf or automotive.
Not sure what chassis is on your coach but there are forums for alot of different chassis here along with powertrain groups to help with getting what you may need.
Enjoy the Coach,
Greg

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!
Many owner's manuals are too generic to be much use. I would write down the make and model numbers of all the individual systems and Google for manuals! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
