RV Wizard yes they are. I am having the dark part on the hood painted as the clear coat is coming off. I went ahead and ordered it, what else could I do?

That price doesn't surprise me. It also irritates me because it's nothing more then some type of cardboard or thin plastic. The shiny "chrome" coating on mine has completely deteriorated in less then four years. It's also separating from the edges.

For $95.49 I think I'll try something else. Like maybe getting it painted on. I think white lettering on a black background will look as good as the original.

I agree Bob, this thing is inlaid and almost imposable to duplicate and yes it was cracked and falling apart. They have you by the Bs.

Low volume, brand-unique, parts are always expensive and Fleetwood is not bashful about parts pricing. If stuff like that sold in any decent volume, Walmart would carry them. Since they don't only, Fleetwood stocks them (and not for many years either).

You don't want to know what they are charging to mold a new front fiberglass cap for my 2004!

Gary I would like to know. I have purchased other parts from them and they were reasonable. On a porch light they were cheaper than I could get a generic one locally.

Thanks but it isn't vinyl, it's raised with rounded edges and counter sunk.
