Pace Arrow shower knob

I have a 2003 Pace Arrow 37A. The acrylic knob for the shower broke in the mounting hole. Fleetwood tells me the supplier is no longer in business and wants me to buy a new assembly. The knob looks like a Delta or Moen but it has a hex hole where it mounts on the shaft. None of the delta or Moen handles will work. Does anyone know the mfg, I would try to track one down.

I replaced the entire unit in my 2003 Pace Arrow with a Moen set I got at Home Depot for about $25, and had my repair center install it for me. The new unit adjusts the temp much better than the old style.

I would seriously consider just replacing the whole valve. However if you want to research the alternative, take the handle to a plumbing supply store (not lowes or home depot). They may be able to help you get a new handle with an adapter to fit your existing valve stem.

If it were me and I could not find the correct replacement and did not want to replace the entire valve. I would get a Delta knob, take a hex key a little smaller than the valve shaft, heat it with a torch and press it into the knob melting a hex socket into the knob. But that's just me. I changed my valve to a thermostatically controlled valve last year $43, best mod ever!

Thanks to all. I removed the trim plate and got lucky all three pex lines going to the valve have threaded swivel fittings also have a large access panel in bed room to valve. After the comments that moen or delta have better temp control I am going shopping for a new valve. Thanks again
