PaceArrow37c H20 holing tank issue

Hello Again,

I am unable to stop the H20 flow to the holding tank in this 2004 Pace Arrow 37C... I have tried to turn the valve to bypass the flow to no avail.... I just want to stop the flow to the holding tank while still using H20 in the RV.
Best regards,

If your fresh tank is filling , when using park water supply and turning the fresh tank fill valve doesn't stop the flow; there's a good chance the valve is defective and you'll have to replace it.

There is also the possibility of a defective back flow valve in the 12 volt water pump , that's a second route that city water can enter your fresh tank .

Does the fresh tank fill quickly or take a while ?
Quickly , probably the fill valve .
If it takes hours then the back flow in the pump is the more likely.

Holding tank issue...

Hi Skip,

The tank does fill quickly...

I'm hoping to isolate the water line that feeds the tank and cap it off...

You could have a bad check valve in your pump, like I did, allowing water to flow backwards through pump to tank. I installed an external check valve to solve the problem.

Likely bad valve. Replace.
