Paint Checking

I know this has been discussed before, and I know all about why paint checks on fiberglass side walls on motorhomes from heat, curing process etc. But my question is this. Is that all that it does? In other words; will the paint deteriorate beyond this point, i.e.: peeling off etc.?

Thanks,

We have full body paint. When we first got the MH, I noticed a few small checks in the dark(black)paint in a few spots. After 4 years those spots haven't gotten any worse and there is no flaking. We'll keep truck'in.

Usually it's NOT the paint that's "checking". It's the surface of the fiberglass coming loose.
Several RV manufacturers had problems due to using the same panel manufacturer. Not cheap to fix, on our rig it's some $18,000 to replace and repaint the whole sidewall.

How much is the sidewall replacement and repaint going to cost?
