Parking air brakes sticking after 9 night stay

Got ready to depart from a 9 night stay at a campground today and after releasing the parking brake the brakes were sticking. Gently shifted from drive to reverse and drive again and the breaks released with a slight 'thump'.

Any ideas as to what's going on? Suggestions?

Additional info:
Coach fully aired up. Normal ~120 lb showing on both air pressure gauges
Drove 4 hrs. today. No abnormal heat on any rim. No abnormal vibration or breaking behavior. TPMS temps and pressures all normal. Stopped once at Wallmart for 20 min parked & shutdown. No issue on restart.
2019 Tiffin 37bh on Freightliner chassis. Last annual service at Freightliner in Feb / Mar

Particularly if wet, not abnormal for brake shoes to stick the the drums.

Agree-- stop a few miles down the road and make sure you have them operating as they should.

Most likely the brake shoes are sticking to the drums/rotors due to rust. Nothing to be too concerned about just don't let them stay engaged too long as they may not respond to the slight back and forth you did this time. If they get really stuck lightly rap the drum or rotor with a hammer. Good luck.

I've had the problem several times, always when parked a few days near water. I go from forward to neutral to reverse until they clear.

How do you not leave them engaged for a long time? My Allison MD3060 doesn't have a parking position and I don't carry enough Chocks that I would feel safe leaving the parking brake off.

If your up on levelers you don't need brakes, but the brakes will come on automaticly anyway, once the air bleeds down.

Thanks for the feedback and info. We were staying at a park on the Maine coast with plenty of rain and chilly evenings and fog in the early morning. So your comments on what caused the issue seem bang on. I slept better last night after reading the feedback and quit searching google maps for Freightliner repair places near me!
