Here's what I have installed on my coach. They are very bright. Not only do they light directly rearward their pattern is high enough to illuminate the rocks and posts at ground level and they shine high enough to see the tree branches trying to attack my awnings and slide toppers.
They can really light up our porch if we get an unexpected knock on the door at night. Best of all, they can be rotated 180° if some inconsiderate self important neighbor thinks I should feel honored to be be bathed in the glare of his jeepney lights all night.Click image for larger version

I use a LED lantern that I place where I want to be; when backed in to a camping spot. That will give you an easy view of where to go. Also my rear camera works in low light conditions. I also use my side docking lights which also helps light up around my coach. The best is to use DW and kids to watch out for anything I may have missed. Backing up at night should be an easy task; using every available light, camera or person

I did this:

The white lights come on with the backup lights.

I also wired it so the backup lights and these come on with the utility bay light. Really lights up a dark site to get hooked up after backing in too.

(From a Chevrolet Colorado pickup.)

A spotter is best, if you are solo ask a neighbor to spot for you, I have never seen anyone refused.

Use parking lights only, keep light pressure on the brake pedal to use the increased light from the brake lights, and turn on your four/way flashers.

I also keep a handful of chem-lights with me if I need to outline a target area that I need to back into, put the chem-lights right where you want to stop, when you can't see them out of the mirrors anymore, stop.

A few years ago I bought some battery powered Christmas lights when they went on sale for 1/2 price Dec. 26th. Really cheap.
They used 2 AA batteries and were about 10' long. I planned to outline the back sides and rear corners of the parking area I was going to back into.
I never got around to using them yet but I still think it's a good idea.

At one of our RV shows I chose to back up a Class A in an aisle to take it to it's parking place. It was pitch black and I sure as heck couldn't see where I was backing. That cured me of wanting to driving a big rig after dark.

Rear flood lights are a big help as well. The darker the better. I get nothing but glare in my camera from street lights.

I installed very bright LED flood lights on the rear of the coach. Painted them white to match. Use a couple of low cost LED lanterns as campsite edge guides and and to mark power/water locations or other obstructions that are best not touched I can back in easily at night.

I have forgotten where I bought them. It could have been NAPA or Tractor Supply. They have a sturdy ribbed aluminum frame with 6 LEDs and a U shaped steel bracket with a single mounting bolt. Here is a LINK to an almost identical pair on Amazon. There are many different makers of lights like these.

I happened to have the coach in the shop for something else(and I suck at soldering and wiring) so I had them install them and add a lighted 2 pole rocker switch next to my fog light switch on the panel. I had them use a large fender washer on the single mounting bolt through the fiberglass on each side. It went pretty quickly.

The lights are waterproof and the wiring connections are too since they are just behind the front cap open at the bottom to road spray.
