All Class As will have either a front entry door or a mid entry door on the passenger side. There are a few diesel pushers that have a mid entry door (Thor Palazzo and Fleetwood Excursion are two) but most are front entry. Almost all gas coaches will be mid entry, but may have a driver's door in addition. We have had both types since our Itasca was a gas coach with a mid entry door and now two Tiffin diesels with front entry. I was skeptical about the front entry when we got our first one, but now that we are used to it there really is less wasted space than with a mid entry. The cabinets and living area can be better utilized with the front entry. A mid entry does have one big advantage in that the doorway is usually under the big patio awning.
When you look at front entry models, pay special attention to the amount of room you have entering beside the copilot seat. Some brands/models we looked at were very tight. Tiffin seems to allow more room for the entry steps and walking space.
