Well Gang,
My dad was in the Navy at the time and, right there in the middle of it all when it went down, so to speak. He was on the sea plane tender U.S.S. Curtiss. He was in the radio room when a bomb blew the back side of the room away, he was blown against the console. We he regained consciousness, he turned to see what had happened. He could now see three decks below him. He was lucky to only receive a broken back in the attack. His name is mentioned in the book, "Day of Infamy".

In today's rhetoric of protesters all over the U.S., it's too bad we don't honor more of our past heroes and folks who've helped us keep the ability to PROTEST.

Scott my Dad was also USN aboard the USS Jarvis at the time of attack he was lucky to survive unharmed but many did not. Truly the greatest generation

By todays standards that would be called a terrorist attack. I watched many TV documentary's about Dec. 7, 1941 today, and learned much more than I thought I knew.
The bravery of the sailors and soldiers, is humbling.
