Pex to 'normal' plumbing

I've replaced my bathroom faucet in our motorhome. Trying to get the fitting that's attached to pex pipe is a pain. So I bought the flexible stainless steel (like in my house) and used brass nipple to connect. I'd like to neaten it up and cut the pex shorter but I don't know how to reconnect the pex fitting into the pipe. I want to simplify things. Hope this makes sense. I assume other people have done this. Rv manufacturers sure make things tough. Title should say pex

Install this Shutoff Valve into the Pex Line and Crimp:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Apollo-1...238C/301541238

Attach one end of this Supply Line to the Shutoff Valve, and the other end to your New Faucet:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/BrassCra...2A-F/100068479

There are different Shutoff Valves and different Lengths of Supply Lines so choose which ones will work for your installation.

Most factory made Pex couplings are crimped on but some use press-to-fit (aka Sharkbite or Guest) or Flair-it type screw couplers. The later two are easy to re-attach but crimped fittings require the crimping tool and sometimes the crimped fitting isn't fit to re-use.

As for matching up to the fitting that was on the Pex, they are standard plumbing items and any decent hardware/plumbing store should have been able to match up. But if you are going to remove the old Pex fitting anyway, but on whatever size/type works with you new faucet. That way you won't need the stainless hose either. Get a shutoff valve with a Pex compatible coupling on one side and whatever matches your faucet on the other.

A friend of mine sent me this link to a Youtube channel that refers to the differences between plumbing in an RV. There may be some information here that will help

As already noted, https://www.flairit.com/, catalog, scroll down to page 12.
I carry a supply of Flair-it in my ol Bounder, just for those moments. No special tool required.

You should be able to buy a flex hose with a push to fit fitting on one end and the threads to the faucet on the other.

I purchased a crimping tool, fittings, short runs of blue and red pex, and fittings when I had purchased a fifth wheel back in 2013. It was easy to do mods and fixes. I did install new home stile faucets as well. PEX adapters were available at Lowe's or Home Depot. I am sure ACE hardware or any other hardware should have them. I also used a couple of Shark Bites connectors as well. Just do not purchase a cheep PEX crimping tool. Pex is easy to work with. I now have a 2013 Thor Palazzo and have replaced its bathroom faucet as well. It is not hard to find proper adapters. I would never use home metal flex pipe in an RV. Too much shake, shock, and vibrations for that type of plumbing.

I found a sharkbite fitting that says works on pex on Amazon. It has a 1/2 inch thread on the other end. That will work with the flexible stainless I've already installed. Sometimes you just need to get away from a project to think straight. Thanks for all the input.
