Pinch Pleated windshield Curtains

Time to replace the windshield curtains on my 99 Seaview. There are 2 panels, both 114" wide by 44" high. I tried washing them but they are just too old and deteriorating.

Anyone have an idea where I can buy some made to this size and not costing $1,000? Just looking for something decent, but not expensive as we will be upgrading to a newer RV soon?

Thanks for looking!

I'd go see a local independent seamstress or two, bringing one of the curtains with you. That's the route I went when I had insulated drapes made to hang behind the cockpit so the dash air would keep us cool. I've seen availability on line and thought the prices were outrageous. And if you use a local seamstress you can pick the fabric.

I would find a local fabric shop and ask if they knew if one of their customers would take on your project. We did and she wound up making a "cottage business" out of making drapes for others too.

Ikea.
They have the best price/quality for blackout curtains. Basic colors, tan, gray, green, blue. The top of the curtain can attach to a rod or to clips like pleated curtains on a track in an RV.

We cut them down to length and used iron-on hem tape to finish the bottoms (didn't feel like breaking out the sewing machine). Four of their 57" wide panels did our windshield, sold in pairs ended up costing under $150 when all was said and done.

The blackout works great and they have some thermal capabilities too.

Ikea also has rather nice roller blinds, good deal if their stock sizes fit your window widths.

I brought my OEM tried front windshield curtains to my local upholstery shop & they made me way better than the OEM ones for a reasonable price & of course you get to pick your own fabric & color as opposed to what came with your rig.

We bought these and contacted the vendor to let them know exact dimensions and number of pleats. Got dark burgundy and they block light and heat and look great. They were sewn in China and arrived very quickly. We could not be happier.

This model is no longer available nut the vendor has many others to choose from.

X2. Quality is good and they give you precise instructions on how to measure the dimensions for the curtains.

We bought pleated blackout panels at Walmart. Then had seamstress cut and finish to length. IIRC total cost was less than $250 on 2016.

Just purchased new ones here also. Love the drapes and they seem to be better than original equipment. Time from order to pick up was two weeks. Best price also.

Great people to do business with as I had them make me a set of Sheepskin covers for my Flexsteel captains chairs. Excellent customer communication!!
