Portable Vacuum Cleaner??

What do you find is the best for a Class A that is works well and is small, maybe has a wand for higher places.I heard the canisters are better than an upright?

My wife went to the local vacuum repair shop that also sells them and purchased a small upright Panasonic. It folds flat so it stores easily under the bed and the suction hose disconnects from the head so you can use it to reach places the head can't. It came with some attachments.

When she really wants to clean deep she breaks out the Kirby we have at home and the shampooer. The coach also has a central vacuum system for quick jobs.

We have a Hoover battery powered upright bought from Costco for about $100 and a Black and Decker Dust Buster bought from Amazon for about $35. Works for us.

Black & Decker Flex, tested to almost the same suction as Dyson and is easily cleaned.

We always carried our Kenmore canister with us until I seen the TV infomercial on the Shark Rocket. Sometime I have to scratch my head on these infomercials but I had it in mind to get a smaller vacuum for the moho. I purchased a Shark Rocket at Sam's and brought it home. I really wanted to test this thing so I pulled out our Kenmore canister and gave an area a good vacuuming. Then I gave the Shark a try and couldn't believe what that vacuum picked up. Now every infomercial I see doesn't sell me on a product but I will give this Shark ***** stars for sure. Glad I purchased it and good luck on your search. JMHO

We use this one from craftsman. Versatile, and works great for under $100. Easily stores in the basement of our CC Intrigue.

I'm sure we have all found a solution that works for us. In my case it's a Makita
12v https://www.amazon.com/Makita-LC01Z-...25NT05KG4952V3 Vacuum that works with the Impact Gun and Drill https://www.amazon.com/Makita-LCT209...v+makita+drill - I keep a a drill and a flashlight with two extra batteries, so I can be using the tools while the DW is cleaning up MY mess. . .

We have used a similar model as it has progressed through the years (30 +)in the house - great because it's light weight, will do the entire coach, is lightweight, and uses the same battery set as the tools. (Also comes with 18v, if you need bigger tools) Central Vac is a pain as the hose and all the pieces are just a pain.

Just one more option that has served us well.

Shark Bagless Cyclonic Hand Vac (V15Z)

$40 on amazon. Has a filter that we just clean with compressed air. Has great suction. Works well.

Cheers

Our coach has a built-in vacuum but on a friend's recommendation I purchased a refurbished Dyson DC44 Animal Vacuum for her and she loves it. Not only does she use it exclusively in the motorhome but she also takes it home to our S&B to use instead of struggling with the hose for our built-in there.
