Power- Automotion Shades

Windshield shade is down. Now what. After search I think I may be able to fix LATER. Anyone know of a way to manually override? I think I can roll up by hand and tie off, but must be a better way. Would have to use more than one tie up. Can't even think about what to do if it came down at 60mph. Any ideas?
thanks

If you roll it up by hand it will not come back down unless you use the switch to put it back down. The electronics for the limit switches are probably bad. There are several post here and on the Tiffin network about changing the motor. One even explains how to bypass the limit switch so you can use the old motor. Tiffin parts still sells the motors.

Can not roll up by hand on roller. Would need to roll by hand and tie off. Have looked at trvn and others. Do not have time to take apart now. Will keep looking for a better way to roll up. thanks. Any other ideas?
