Power Gear air bag vs leveling Jacks

Could someone tell me advantages or disadvantages of Power Gear system vs leveling Jack system. Went to look at 07 Monaco and I'm only familiar with leveling jacks. This coach did not have jacks and leveled with the air bag system. It did have 10 airbags that were replaced three years ago with better bag system. Are there limits to the leveling of these?

KInda of worries me for my current 5th wheel to level uses all the travel on the front jacks on my driveway.

Jts,
I am on my 2nd Dynasty with HWH air leveling. I think the Power Gear system may be a different brand of system but I think basically does the same thing. I love the air system if you are stopping to fill with fuel or water Just dump out some air and level it quick. If you are dumping tanks Lean it over a bit.

Yes the system is limited on its range but I see owners with Jacks go way to far and lift the wheels. They should be using blocks under the tires to get closer just like you might need to do.
You can feel a little movement when people are moving around with air.
Jacks are a little more solid when down. But you know more about jacks than I do.
What model of Monaco are you looking at?

07 Dynasty iV, like the unit just worried about the age. Lot of systems on it. Thanks for your info.

Mine has the Power Gear Active Air Leveling, no jacks. Gives me about six inches of movement at each corner. Can lean coach to either side to top off fuel tank when I come across cheaper fuel, able to level at stops without worrying about jack sinking in hot asphalt or messing with blocks.
Factory support is excellent, had one problem and he walked me thru diagnosing it and repairing the bad electrical connection.
I like the feature where it wakes up and will relevel if needed.
