Power- Hydraulic Jacks

I have 2006 holiday Rambler Imperial.we bought it new. It has 3 Power-gear hydraulic leveling jacks on it.We are having a bit o a problem. When i turn acc on & push the on button on the control pad it says the jacks are down, but they are not.when i push the retract button in auto mode nothing happens.I can operate the manual button ok.& the jacks do lower & raise, but the jacks down light still flashs & they are totally raised.there is a 2 inch dipstick on the top or the resivor. It shows oil about 1 1/4 inches down from the top of the resivor. i would appreciate any thoughts on this. thank you al stang

WELCOME to the forums..

Check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir. Add fluid to the top of the reservoir.

The "Jacks Down" light is in reality a "level Low" indicator.. When the jacks are all fully retracted, the fluid in the tank goes up and triggers a float switch.

If your not sure where the tank is, listen for the pump when you lower the jacks. The pump is mounted on the tank.

Hi Al! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Wish I could help but our coach is air leveling only, so don't know anything about the hydraulic jack systems.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
