Power module for 5.9

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with an Ag Diesel Solutions 20300 Power Module? I am thinking about purchasing one for my 2001 Winnebago 32T. It has the Allison 5 speed transmission. Parleys Diesel tells me they have sold these for years for RVs and have never had a negative feedback. It claims to add 65hp and I'm wondering if my transmission can handle it.
I had my bad (per mechanic) turbo replaced with a new one that is a little bigger than the OEM. At 2100 RPM I can feel it kicking in when I hold it in a lower gear but then the governor kicks about 2175 and says that's it. The shift points seem to be set at about 2150 so the turbo really never gets a chance to do what it's supposed to. Maybe I don't need a module but just need to have the governor or shift points changed. Is that possible? Any suggestions??
I would appreciate any input. Tnx, Gene

What year is that 5.9? What turbo did you have installed?

Ask them if they have a satisfaction guarantee or money back policy. If they do, give it a try, BUT, go easy on the throttle from a dead stop;your Allison will thank you later.
To view the torque specs for your transmission go to: RV Tech Library - Allison Transmissions
then click on "Allison transmission specifications"

It sounds to me what you really need is a turbo that works at the RPM the engine wants to work...

Nice link. It looks like they've rated the 1000MH for 340hp so it looks like it might be okay with another 65hp. Thank you.

I looked at the information on that module and it should work for your application. Just installing a different turbo does nothing without additional fuel, that is what you should get from this module. How well the transmission will handle it depends on the condition of the transmission. This is where the driver comes in. Listen to the shifts and make sure the engine is not speeding up during the a shift if it is back off the throttle and let it engage. That is when you know if it going to handle the power for sure. The charts assume new perfect transmissions.
