I have had the system serviced, and 2 months later, the levelers wont retract all the way. Have to use a 2 x 4 to force them to go up all the way. There are no springs......and thats the question....can or should they be added? Thanks

2months.. Check your owners manual for lubrication recommendations before you throw labor costs at it.

Some jacks have springs INSIDE the cylinder. Some are dual acting.
