Powergear Slide Slideout Fault Code

I have an almost-still-new 2022 Fleetwood Flair 29M. The slide works fine but after extending the slide the panel flashes 4 red then 2 green, indicating a fault/error.

I tried googling but unfortunately the error codes don't seem consistent between different Powergear models, and I don't know which model I have.

For example, one doc I found said that error was minor (battery over-voltage), and another one said major (motor problem).

The major one seems unlikely since the slide works and the motor has only been cycled about ten times in its life.

Any ideas?

If the flexible bar at the top and the bottom of each side if each slide is square and gear-toothed on one side you have a SlimRack system. Since you have a 2022 that's almost a given.

It sounds like you may have a wiring problem with that motor.

PS: You might want to try a motor resync, a process hat also resets the motor stops:

To keep the SlimRack slide motors in sync perform this procedure periodically:

Once the slide is fully out or fully in, release that button and then press and hold the same button again. If the motors are in sync you'll hear a "whir"and then a "click" briefly and you'll see the slide barely move. Once you hear the click from each motor release the button. Then do it one more time.

This needs done with the slide fully in and with the slide fully out but it does not matter which one you do first. Don't worry, you cannot push the slide through the wall.

When my motors are starting to get out of sync the "whir" will last longer on one side and sometimes I'll hear a "whine" instead. Once you hear the "click" from each motor they're in sync.

If you do not hear the "click" after about five seconds and there is no noise or movement from the slide release the button. The "click" is not very loud and you probably missed it.

What does "periodically" mean? There is no harm in doing it every few slide operations. Just be certain to do it often enough that you don't see any problems like a crooked slide.

if it's hydraulic, check the fluid level.
