Precept 31ul cable schematic needed

Our 2022 Precept has some sort of cable connection problem (which I know is not news, as it seems to be common.) It's been at the dealer's for just over a month for various warranty issues, including cable problem.

And yes, I'm well aware that the power booster is supposed to be OFF when using cable. I've also heard that it's common for cable coax to be crossed with antenna wiring, but that supposedly been ruled out, at least at the coax input inside the wet bay. The output jack/switch plate located inside an upper cabinet is properly connected. It seems as though the feed from the input stops at or before the splitter, wherever that is hidden.

Dealer has reached out to Jayco a few times over the past 2+ weeks to get a schematic of cable wiring, including location(s) of splitter, but they've not sent it to date.

Does anyone have a file of this schematic that could be shared? I don't know if there's any commonality across product lines, models and floor plans for cabling; my assumption is it's model-specific. This is very frustrating -- thanks for any help that may be offered.

I never did get any responses to this request. I just heard today from dealership that Jayco has finally emailed the schematic, and they expect to dig in to it tomorrow. Yesterday marks 5 weeks since bringing it in for warranty service. We hope to have our coach back by next week. We shall see!

I went to there website and requested a schematic of my body when I was installing my washer and dryer, I had to send them my vin number and year make and model and they sent it to me, I would try again.

I'll try to put this thread to bed, given limited replies. My cabling problems have apparently been resolved. The dealer's service tech found the following issues (and the schematics Jayco finally sent were of no help.)

1. SAT and CATV coax cables were crossed in the wet bay.
2. Coax running from wet bay input *didn't connect to antenna booster wallplate*. Rather, the end of another cable (not sure which) was connected to wallplate.
3. The proper output end of the coax coming from the wetbay was found inside the wall and had to be pulled up to make the connection.
4. I had discovered that the Winegard unit atop the coach didn't appear to be powered, as the green LED inside the tiny compartment where the SIM card is located was unlit, and we couldn't get it to work. Come to find out, the polarities had been reversed.

The coach is now back home (after six. Long. Weeks.) so I won't be able to confirm CATV will work until we get to a campground next week.

All of these problems appear to be repetitive mistakes during the build, across different models and model years. The fact that Jayco seems to have to interest in correcting stupid mistakes is shameful.

Yes, typical, I don’t know if they have inspector that inspect their work, probably not, One of the job I work was for Boeing, whenever we finish a job we had to put it up on the call sheet and the inspector come out and inspect the work and they will buy off on it or they will reject it. So glad that you have that part work out.
