Read what you quoted, applies to left and right turns, not lane changes on interstates!

Call 911 and report them for their reckless operation.

We also just got back from Aztec R V resort in Ft. Lauderdale. Drivers in Florida don’t use turn signals and race from traffic signal to traffic signal and wow the traffic is heavy. You really have to keep your eyes open and moving from front of vehicle to rear view mirrors at least they don’t shoot at you like some states.

I always try to remember that I don't know why someone may be driving aggressively. Perhaps they are drunk, or perhaps they are angry, or perhaps they are in the middle of some serious emergency and trying to get to a hospital to save someone's life.
I just don't know so I try to let them have their way. No one wants to be behind an RV, especially if the RV is pulling a TOAD, so many are just trying to shorten their trip but given that I don't know why they are driving like that I just try to keep calm and carry on ...
And if there is a long line behind me I always try to pull over and let them pass. provided that there is a safe place for me to do that.

If you have your signal on and have plenty of space, hasten your lane change

I hear you here! Just don't freak when they merge right to left. Keep your speed steady and remember you are the bigger threat.

Three thoughts about this from my experience:
1) from the international rules for prevention of collisions at sea (COLREGS): everyone is responsible for preventing collisions. Stated another way, drive defensively.
2) from my motorcycle safety courses, always ride defensively. Since on a motorcycle you WILL ALWAYS lose, do what is necessary to avoid a collision. Also, Always assume the other driver doesn’t see you. I know that seems silly for a large RV, but it’s never a bad assumption.
3) as others have said, it is far too easy to obtain a driver’s license, which results in a lot of poor drivers on the roads. As someone said earlier, you can’t fix stupid.
Worst place for aggressive driving I’ve lived is Boston. It’s a competitive sport, you get points for cutting people off. The word “merge” isn’t in the dictionary there.

I just assume everyone is drunk, on drugs or homicidal. Even the little old lady in the '83 Buick Electra. They're all insane and I stay as far away as possible.

About the worst thing you can do is try to "out-aggressive" an aggressive driver because there's really no good end to that situation.

I95 up near Jaxs can be insane. When i lived there I would routinely check the map to see if the big red line was in the way!! even though I knew my route.
also motorcycles drive insane,
As for driving. know your routes and plan well ahead for the right lane. Typically if you have the signal on and inch overa bit there is someone that has experience enough to allow you over. Again the motorcycles or sports cars that will still try to cut into that area.
Since I also live in Ecuador I often just pretend I am driving there...then it doesnt seem so bad!! JAHAJAHAHA

We can drive as relaxed as possible
When there is plenty of space to do a lane change and you are in the process half way and a driver continues to accelerate on the lane you are merging to
How can we make this less?????
