Progressive Industries EMS

Got to the campground Sunday evening and when I plugged in my 50 amp EMS it showed wild voltage numbers and an error code of 10. After verifying that the voltage was ok, we plugged in without the EMS. We stay at this particular state park on a regular basis and they do occasionally have low voltage. Anyway, I called PI Monday am and told them what I had. They asked me to email them my name, address, phone number and a copy of the purchase receipt. The latter I did not have. It's probably in our previous coach. The only thing I could tell for sure was that I ordered it from somewhere on 11/31/15. That was from an old thread on this forum. Anyway, I emailed them a second time and told them I would not be able to provide proof of purchase. A short time later I got an email from UPS with delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I seem to save everything except what I need to and then can't find it! Anyway, looks like PI stepped up and took care of me. The unit worked fine when we were camped here a few weeks ago and has been in the electrical compartment since. No idea what could have happened to it.

Nice to hear of their continued good customer service. I no longer have my receipt. I figured if I have a problem I will just return it in the original box and hope they stand up.

Another brownie point for PI! Wish more companies were like them!

They told me to just dispose of the old unit.

I wish they had treated me that way. Same scenario. I had to pay for repairs.

I have a unit that got some water in it and it begin to short out. I wrote and asked if they would rebuild it for me my expense and I was told no. I guess I understand that but I find it unfortunate because I think a majority of the unit is in excellent condition with exception of whatever was sizzling with a little water.
