Propane on or off?

Do you shut off the propane at the main tank valve before driving or do you leave it on?

Same as Jake.
It gets turned off to fill the tank, and that's it.
If I lived in an area with tunnels where it's required to be turned off then I'd do that too, but there aren't any tunnels in Florida.

Most states prohibit going through tunnels with the propane on. Also in a crash you may leak propane and cause a deadly fire. The choice is yours!

Very unlikely as the tanks have a high flow detector and shut flow off if a line ruptures. If you have a gas engine the fuel tank is far more dangerous and you don't shut that off do you?
If you're really worriedvabout it you could always trade for an all electric RV.

I only turn mine off if going through a tunnel.

... or a ferry.

For the Washington State Ferries, when you pay your fare they give you a bright orange card to display. This lets the ferry crew know that you have turned off your propane tanks. Otherwise you don't get on.
