What is your take on using 303 on the whole exterior of the motor home.

1. Its expensive.
2. I thought it was best used on plastic, vinyl, and the like.

That's a lot of 303 and there are other products more cost effective. But if you are inclined I do not think it would hurt. But be prepared to do it more often than wax I think>

I use it on the roof, for the body (we have full body paint) I use Dry Wash N Guard.

303 for tires and slide seals, etc.
Checkbook for waxing twice a year.

303 for the roof. There aren't any short cut for too many things. It's pay me now - or more work & pay me later.

303 on ALL rubber, fiberglass top and plastic. Thin coat every 6-8wks on washed roof and ac/vent covers. (1/2 cup for a 40 footer) 1 thin coat 1/yr on the rest of the seals, tires etc. Secret is to use the same small thin rag so it does't get wasted in the rag.

Rejex on ALL the clear coat, aluminum rims, and glass 1/yr. Not fun but works especially well for removing bugs after application. Must be clean and wax free first as Rejex is a sealer and not a cleaner/wax.

Less expensive in bulk as mentioned earlier. Our 1999 shines like the day it was born. 6 months out in the weather 6 months inside. Yes I know I am anal.

I have used 303 on everything from top to bottom since 2001. It's works great on everything and I don't think it's that costly. My Bounder is 28' and I can do the Rubber Roof and the Coach with about a 1/2 gallon which amounts about $30. It's "beads" the water on the surface for a long time. How much you have to use any product is in direct relation to Sun/Element exposure. Another thing is it really easy to apply and remove with no time limit for removal basically. Rubber Roof I sponge on "wet" and don't wipe off. If your coach is "chalky" you need to use a cleaner wax first as 303 just protects.

I also use 303 top to bottom. I have a fiberglass roof and sides. It is easy on the decals and keeps it looking great. Since I store it indoors, I only apply twice a year. It takes about a quart each time for the entire motorhome. Great stuff.

We too use it on just about everything although I do give the exterior a quick "NuFinish" once a year as I buy that for my car. About once a month after washing, I give it a quick wipe-down with 303.
