So you had a Viair and didn't like it? Or you tried others and are extrapolating your experience to the Viair?

Pump for airing up tires

Bought a 150psi Porter Cable pancake compressor on sale from Home Depot for $99. It really puts out what it says. It works just fine.
I am more concerned about having extra valves always on hand. They can bend or just go bad.Good luck.

I have the Viair 450P Automatic function compressor. It's built like a tank and is certainly on the expensive side but you generally get what you pay for. It takes up a lot less space than a pancake compressor and it's 100% duty cycle. I'm very happy with it.

I'm thinking about buying the 450P. How do you reach the far side of the coach? More air hose or more power cable?

I always use my toad with the engine running at idle for the 12 volt compressor power supply. With the PU parked at the rear and center of the MH, I can easily reach both front tires w/50' of hose. The Viair works great.

Had one...didn't like it! Respectfully...My current PC "blows the Viair right out of the water"!
