Put These In Order Please

If someone needs help with trucks I can chime in and give all kinds of experience and thoughts. But with motorhomes, I do not know one name from the other hardly. I do know the top names but as far as quality and more important, reliability, I do not know much. I know they will all have their ups and downs but I know some name brands should have less downs than others. Please rank these in order for me please:

Monaco
Forest River
Fleetwood
Winnebago
Itasca
Gulf Stream

I am looking for a diesel pusher and I think Tiffin and Newmar are great but as far as my list above, I do not know where they fall. Thanks for any help.
I am also looking for used in the years 2008-2012

Ask ten people and you'll get fifteen opinions. Each person has different priorities and wants/needs, not to mention budgets and just plain ole what appeals to them. Each of these manufacturers has more than one level of unit so it's just very hard to help you out. You asked for opinions and you'll get a ton based on what that person likes, but it really comes down to the floorplan and chassis/engine that works for you.

I might be able to put them in an order of MY interest in them, but that info wouldn't necessarily help you much.

You can consider Winnebago and Itasca as the same unit --the only differences between Winnebago and Itasca are interior color palettes, and exterior color schemes.

My personal preference of your list plus the two others mentioned would put Newmar at the top of MY list. I won't reveal my least favorites as there are many people that own them and are happy with them.

As Carl said what is important to me may not be the same for you. What is important is to get a size, floorplan and dealer that suits you not me or anyone else.

Personally, I would put Newmar and Tiffin at the top of your list.

Monoco, Newmar, Country Coach, Travel Supreme, and American Coach. All high end builders.

What order I'd rank them depends on what you're looking for, but I'd put the super high end manufacturers at the top of the that list, like American, Entegra, Monaco and the like.

If those were out of my budget or didn't have the length/floorplan I was looking for, then I'd go to Tiffin/Newmar.

Then if my budget was even tighter I'd look at Winnebago/Itasca.

Then if I still couldn't get there, I'd buy a clean used older unit, and save my cash.

But that's just me.

Thank you...... Now that was simple.... I know part of it is based on opinion and floor plan and this and that, but somewhere there has to be some basic manufacturer fundamentals to this. Thanks wildflowers for your input...

Just FYI, my list would probably have Newmar, Tiffin, or Monaco at the top. Having said that, we have a 2005 fleetwood discovery that had outstanding maintenance records and is very reliable. Yes, it has particle board cabinets, but for the price I paid (got a great deal), I am very happy. Maintenance history is MUCH more important than brand name.
