Questions on replacing jackknife sofa

We have a Newmar Bay Star gas coach that has the Flexsteel Extend a lounge jack knife sofa. We use it mainly for sitting, hardly ever for sleeping. It is very uncomfortable sitting on it. We would like to replace with another jackknife because we need the extra storage underneath.

We have been shopping around for regular home sofas, taking in consideration the door width to get it in. I am wondering if anyone would know what our current 88" sofa might weigh, or even what a typical RC jackknife sofa weighs?

I have seen the posts of people struggling to get their Extend a lounge out, but it appears the model we have is made different and the corner section is in two pieces (it is a 2017 model).

Does anyone have a jackknife sofa that is comfortable to sit on that they can recommend?

thank you

Don

Last fall we bought a Jack knife sofa, barrel chair and two captains chairs from shop4seats. It took 3 months to get it, but we've been happy. The seats are firm. They bolt down to the floor so no movement. With the virus I don't know if they are still working. They are in California. We did new flooring and furniture and until things get better we haven't been able to get out. Better safe than sorry.
