Ramps
I just got into a project MH and started to think about my ramps,
the say 12,000lb. GVW Capacity my MH is 14,500
now I don't know the split of each axle but making wonder.
my 4X4 is 6k so I never questioned it but now I am.
I am not sure how they rate these things, IOW is that 12k how much are they assuming is per axle? The more I think it looks like it's not going to be a good idea.
I need to get under it for a fair amount of work, what do you guys offer for advice for the DIY repair maintenance.
I am not a small man, so I need a little extra clearance.

There should be a sticker in your MH stating the axle ratings for front and rear. If not go to a scale and have it weighed. You should do that anyway to know what the correct tire pressure should be. The weight results will tell you if your ramps are adequate or not. Some people build ramps with 2x8 or 2x10 lumber to have a solid ramp that can not fail.

Unless you can confirm, with no doubt what so ever, treat the ramps the same as jack stands in that the advertised capacity is the combined capacity of both items working together. In other words each ramp has a capacity of 6,000 lbs.
I prefer jack stands to ramps. A bit more flexible especially if the work involves removing a wheel. Found 12 ton jack stands and a matching bottle jack at Northern Tools. In theory one jack stand will support my coach at 18,000 lbs. GVWR loaded to the axle limits.

Our ramps are stacked 2x12s with 45 degree cut on one end about 18" long they will hold any thing and can get rig up 6 inches. I then air up suspension and can do maint with out worry

Me three. I made 6 ramps with the 2x12, stacked 4 high, angled cut and top plate about 18" long. Gives me a true 6" lift and with all 6 wheels supported, stable. Raises coach enough that I can slide under on the creeper with air dumped. They aren't light weight, stand about 4' long and I use a box dolly to move them around in pairs.

So what is going to happen to you when an air line breaks or bag rips open or the dump valve falls when your under the coach?
Unless you put stands up to the frame your betting your life.

I was thinking cinder block with a 2X12 I'd like to get it about a foot up
my father was a bus mech, and while he was setting the lift the bus lean for handicap, it goes down about 2" off the ground to match the curb (city bus)
I do not trust air systems.
some blocks some 2x12 and still have some jack stands

Cinder blocks?
Not a chance. They have been known to crumble and kill the home mechanic. I have seen it personally.
Get a proper jack, jackstands or a ramp rated for the weight.

No bricks, cinder block and such. As TripleEEE posted they will crumble without warning and drop the coach. You're dealing with a lot more weight than the average car or truck. Stick with steel or wood.
If you do use ramps for the rear axle both tires of a dual must be fully supported. One tire does not have the capacity to support the weight of the coach.
