Rats got to it

Rats and mice got into our motorhome while in storage. I am looking for a wiring diagram for a 2003 ford coachman. Anyone know where I can find one? It has Diesel engine.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt very much you will find a complete wiring diagram for you coach. Most RV makers don't have them.

Without knowing your specific issue, your best bet is to look up the manual for whatever component the wiring has been compromised to. Like fridge, furnace, converter, etc. Then trace the wiring from there. It's kind of like your house, you don't get a diagram for that, you have to figure it out based on the above.

Depending on the extent of the damage, you might be better off to file an insurance claim under comprehensive. Then at least you will have recourse if the repairs are not done correctly. Keep us advised, and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Have you called the factory tech support for that diagram?

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Yah. Welcome and God bless and all that. LOL.

Google 2003 Ford Coachman wiring diagram. We did and got numerous hits on wiring diagrams. Some on the coach.
I’d imagine if you need an engine diagram or vehicle diagrams, I’d try google again, but this time using engine harness or cab wiring.

Good luck. Have rats attacking our vehicles and have used the sonic repellents to some success. Best idea is to remove edibles, stuff wire wool into potential entry ports, and start your vehicles often.

If it's the engine chassis wires look on eBay for ford DVDs.

The DVDs expire so you may need to set the computer date back, but thete is a file that gets installed you can edit to ship that part.

Friend of mine had the same problem on his class C. His insurance, AAA, covered it.

Put those little boxes of D Con inside and keep them well supplied with the pellets. They eat, get thirsty, go outside for a drink and DIE before they can get back in the MH.

I have been using this for months, works great. Place a bag in the outside tire rim and put the tire cover on, one on the gen-set, one in the motor area.

I did that before I posted. I think you'll find none of them are a comprehensive diagram unique to the model he is referring to which should be a Cross Country if it is a diesel. There would be obvious hazards of using the incorrect one or assuming one of the others will work.

It has been covered before and there are some recommendations here that may be helpful http://www.irv2.com/forums/f258/coac...am-366712.html
