Real Deal on 19.5” Tires

I decided to replace my five year old tires and identified an unbelievable deal at the Goodyear Dealer in Irving Tx(ie Dallas). I purchased Goodyear G670 RV 19.5” tires for $135 each. With all the mounting and balancing, taxes and fees, I replaced four for $957. And they were manufactured in October 2020! The manager told me that Goodyear manufactured the tires for a particular RV manufacturer and the deal fell through, then Goodyear dumped them on the dealers. He has 90 in stock. First come, first served. Click image for larger version

Goodyear tires

Check and see where they were made. If they don't have a serial # on them, they were probably made in you know where. Bought 8 Goodyear tires some years ago in Texas and didn't think a Goodyear dealer would do that to me, but he did. After a couple failed, an honest Goodyear dealer in Georgia got them all replaced with authentic Goodyear tires.

Serial number? Do you mean the DOT code, with plant of manufacture and date shown?

I got a really good deal once on 10R22.5 Continentals from a dealer who buys them by the truckload for one of his fleet customers. Sometimes you catch a break.

Real Deal on 19.5” Tires

I agree that seems like a great price, but after GY could not balance 2 sets of that same exact tire in size 295-80R/22.5 you could not give me another set of GY 670 RV tires. There are lots of threads about them in the Entegra forum. Many of them blew out, and at least one coach was totaled. All Entegra and Spartan were willing to do was keep supplying more of the same, and I got tired of wasting my time at Wingfoot dealers trying to balance them. Bought 2 new Toyo brand and never had another problem.
