Rear air switches to Heat Pump

The rear air on my '06 HR Ambassador diesel worked fine last week. Today, after it started and cooled about 2 minutes it went "phsst" and switched to heat pump. I disconnected the batteries and unplugged 120v for 10 min but still did the same. Can the reversing switch be locked out? Is there an arm that could be wired back? Please HELP!!!

It sounds like the electric coil on the switchover valve may be bad.. I had a penguin 15000 BTU heat pump on my Monaco Dynasty, and a new coil fixed the same problem. An easy and inexpensive repair if it is like mine. Good luck.
