Rear air tank really high

My diesel pusher rear air tank has gone nuts and is now reading above the max of 150. The front tank is around 120. No idea what the hoses are rated at or what to do. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I’m just outside Amarillo Tx for the night.

Very high likelihood this is a gauge issue, not actual PSI issue.

What chassis? What year?

The sending unit can also be the culprit.

Agreed. Or even a cold solder in a connection between them-- plagued a number of Freightliner chassis.

There are relief valves in the air dryer and wet tank that are set for 150 PSI.

If the pressure was that high, It would be in both tanks and blowing off.

Most likely a electric issue.

The issue sounds like a air sending unit that has gone bad. There are two, front and rear. They are a ball looking object about the size of your fist, usually gold in color and have a air line on one side and an electrical plug , two wire, encased in a race-track shaped connector on the other side.
Find those and swap the electrical leads. If the problem follows the swap, the issue is with the air sending unit, it needs to be changed. They are available from Spartan, about $100. Or, from Summit Racing, online, for about $55. It is the 0-150# air sending unit with the Packard connection, the race track shaped thingy.
Look for the air sending unit under the front hood, although on your MH, they might be in another location. Be sure to label the connectors, front/rear, as it is easy to misplace where they belong.
Also, if it proves to be the air sending unit, it would be a good idea to replace the air dryer filter at the same time. It has been reported on this forum that a dirty air dryer filter might be contributing to a failed air sending unit.

It was a faulty gauge. So once a replacement cluster gauge was found and I returned home and installed it the problem was solved. Thanks for the input and sorry for the delay.
