Rear Camera

2020 Tiffin 34PA, our rear camera keeps dropping off, screen shows "No Signal", then after a while it comes back on. Sometimes it never comes back, so I get the ladder out and remove the camera to see if there is a loose connection. Wire is solidly connectet to the camera and I can pull out about 18" of wire, but there is no connection to check. I put it all back and camera is now working fine.....untill next week and I have to do the same "nothing" again. Does anyone know where the connections on this wire is? It is solidly connected to the screen in the dash and the side cameras never have any issues. I am curious if it a solid wire from rear camera to the dash?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris

My guess, and only a guess, is that there will be a plug on that wire, try pull a little more out, or check the rear wall for an access from inside cupboard or closet area. The last one I changed was about 36" to camera, older Monaco, but likely similar. I doubt they would try to hard wire, plugs are much quicker during assembly.

My '10 Bus was acting similar. Nothing at the rear looked bad, camera tested OK. Finally found about a 2-3 ft. leader from the screen to the first cable plug-in. Reconnected and no issues since.
George T. Katt liked to hide under there; he has received a stern talking to and a screen was installed for his exclusion.
