Rear Slider "OUT" not working - 2002 Southwind

Hey Everyone, we're out in Arizona right now looking for some help with our rear slide out. We arrived in the Grand Canyon two days ago and our rear slide out button would not work. If I click "IN" I hear the motor crank to bring the slider in but if I click "OUT" to take the slider out - I get nothing. Then approximately an hour or two later I went to try it again after trying a few different things and it randomly started working again and went out. We just arrived in another town and just parked - we put our front slider out and went to put the rear slider out and it's doing it again. Has anyone run into this issue? If I press "IN" I can hear the motor run and if I select "OUT" nothing at all. Thank you for your help. The front long slider on the drivers side works perfect.

I'd pop the switch out and try operating it with a short piece of jumper wire.

Or maybe reverse the in/out wires and see if it works backwards.

Sounds as if the switch is bad.

Not familiar with your rig. Do you have a controller for each slide? I have an Intellitec controller for my electric slide. Attached is a picture of it. Mine was located on the wall under the curbside kitchen cabinet.

Had a similar problem on my coach. It has two relays near the motor. The retract relay had failed.

Might check to see if it has automotive type spdt relays.
