Welcome to iRV2.

MANY , many , many reports of rear sway bar bushing / bolt failures on the newer F-53 chassis, in the Ford Chassis and many other sections of the forums .
The " search " function should give you a couple of days of reading .

Yes! Pull the bolts, apply blue loc-tite and torq to 63 ft/lbs. Bolts are 12mm grade 8 flange bolts and you can find them from McMaster Carr.

Its so new. I would think its covered under warranty. Is that a chassis part from ford? If so call ford and schedule it in for repair.

The torque on the V10 sway bars was 66 ft lbs but the V8 has a larger sway bar and larger bolts. That should require a higher torque and one person reported that torque is 184 ft lbs.

FWIW,

Ray

Mine broke in half. Factory bracket does not have gussets. There is a newer version that does. I’m pretty sure mine broke on one of those bouncy roads. If you are feeling a lot of body roll, check the rear swaybar!
