Rear View Camera Display

My rear-view camera display is going dim. I can barely make out my towed vehicle on the monitor. I have not changed any settings. Might this be a "bulb" issue or just failure of the monitor/camera.

Coach is in the shop right now in the Atlanta GA area and I'm in NC so I can't experiment with it. Just investigating my options.

This is my 3rd coach and never had a monitor/camera issue previously.

Your comments please.

Have you cleaned up the camera lens?

No, I haven't cleaned the lens yet. I can certainly try that. The coach is in Atlanta and I'm in N Carolina. I will check when I can.
Thanks
