Rearview Camera/Monitor Defective

I have a ADTH rear observation system model ROS 700 on my 2008 Daybreak. The system does not turn on when I turn the power bottom on. There is power going in. I also check the ground. The screen stays black. The only time I see the small power light on is when I place the shifter in reverse but still a black screen. I check for loose connection and everything seems ok. If the camera at the back is the not working properly, would the monitor stay black or would it be a grey lit up screen.
I have phone ADTH 3 or 4 times in Atlanta and requested a return call, but like the usual they don't return my calls.

tks

Take the camera off the back and bring it to the monitor and reconnect it. This will eliminate the cable in between and then let us know if you are getting any change

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try that. What kind of cable do I need to purchase to connect the camera to the unit. Wouldn't the unit light up anyway if the cable or camera is defective.
I will definitely try the suggestion as soon as I get to the rv next week.

Thanks Again

You can get a whole new system on e-bay for around $100.00. I installed one a few trips ago and have had no problems with it

if I purchase a new system on EBay that is not an ADTH ROS 700, can I utilise the same cable that runs to the back of the rv, or is there adapters available to purchase. Being in Canada makes it little more difficult to resolve these issues.
Tks again Ron l
