Rebuilding My 95 Bounder

Story time first!

I purchased my RV down in NC from a gentleman in the Coast Guard in August 2017 prior to knowing that I would get deployed for humanitarian relief efforts in PR. When I finally got home 2 months later that was when I noticed that the "Minor" water damage was not minor at all. However at the time I wasn't able to do much due to the operational tempo getting ready for a deployment overseas. Did the deployment, came back and the operational tempo didn't change much. Lots of underways back to back with minimal time at home.

Finally going on shore duty in 2019 I was hoping to start full time RVing and getting to work on the issues. However on my way to the new command my RV snapped the rear axle while going over the George Washington Bridge outside NYC. Unbeknown to me that two bolts on the axle had broke off and leaked the differential fluid out and caused it to seize in its case and snap. So it spent about 4-5 months sitting in New Jersey. I started (Trapped) living in base housing at my new command. When the repair was complete I moved it up to the storage lot on base. I didn't know that they had a pretty bad mice problem... So after getting deployed for COVID Relief efforts I came back only to find that the mice had invaded my RV and gotten into everything. (I used the RV to store my house goods while I was gone.) That was fall 2020.

Now I am able to start working on it again. While trying to address some light issues I discovered that the mice and water damage issues were much more severe than initially thought.

SO! I will be stripping almost EVERYTHING out and rebuilding from the ground up basically. Currently I am in the process of stripping out all of the cabinets (including the island in the kitchen), removing any paneling, and labeling all of the wiring (I'm also chasing a parasitic load.). I'll be updating progress here.

Any advice/pointers is appreciated! If anyone has electric diagrams for 35UW 95 Bounder you would be my savior!

Haha. I don't know about it being cut, I mean maybe. It'll definitely make it easier to make it how I want it though!

It's a 95 Ford chassis. If I remember correctly it's H&H? The last time I read up on it it's the same chassis for box trucks?

Day 3 End: "A clean workspace is a safe workspace."

Tomorrow's goal will be to move most of the random stuff into storage. Then tear out the last cabinet, remove the mirror, and take out the fridge and pantry. I may even start on the bathroom. We'll see though. The kids are giving me a hard time about being there basically every day this week.

Be careful about weight when installing new stuff. Your coach is on a 17,000lb. chassis and it will be over loaded if you put over 25 gallons of water in your 60 gallon tank, that is in the rear compartment. Fleetwood should have put a tag axle on that coach.
