Talking Recommendation for Weighing in Central Florida

Good Afternoon Folks!

I live on the West Coast of Central Florida (Northwest of Tampa) and was hoping someone might be able to recommend a weigh station! We need to get an individual wheel position weighing and thus far I've found two places. (Based on RVSEF)

One is in Titusville (Exactly opposite of me on this Peninsula but on the East coast) and one in St. Cloud, south of Kissimmee. Was really hoping for something a little closer!

Does anyone have any knowledge of a more convenient place for me?

Sure do thank you for your info!

I saw a post recently in the Thor Palazzo forum that someone had weighing done up in Bushnell someplace associated with Escapees. That might be a good consideration for you as you're probably within 50 or so miles.

Yes. It's called Smart Weigh. There is also an RV park there (in Bushnell) if you want to stay the night.

X2 on the Escapees location in Bushnell, called Sumter Oaks. They can do a four corner weight of your RV and toad if you bring it along..

Call and make an appointment... they will get you in and out in 30 minutes or so. They also measure the height.

Called Sumpter Oaks in Bushnell today and the WeighMaster (Al Peterson) was more than willing to accommodate us on a Saturday for a 4 point weigh in. He helped us with the numbers we needed prior to the weigh-in and was very informative with regard to the results! Fortunately, we were well below capacity and now have the necessary information to calculate our tire psi's! We weighed in with a full tank of diesel as well as a full white tank. Had really good distribution and we're good to go! Thank you all for your recommendation! It cost 45.00 for the weigh-inAND if we re-weigh within 6 months, the charge is $25.00. We will be back with our Toad prior to then. Thank you all so much for the recommendation!

You can also look for a large wholesale landscape business that sells rocks, gravel and such. They might have a drive on scale since they sell by the pound. We have one here in Sarasota. Ask them the best time to come by so it doesn't interfere with their business. They should let you get total, front only, rear only and even individual wheels.
