Recommendations on fresh Water supply hose

I bought a new 25ft fresh water hose for RV use and I don't like it.
It's too stiff. It wants to stay coiled up and won't lay flat.

Can someone recommend a nice, flexible, fresh water hose?

I want to have the hose to attach to RV park water supply to feed into coach if necessary (when my "built-in" fresh water hose won't reach) and to use to wash the coach from time to time. I think 25 ft is long enough since my built in hose is about 25 feet too, and I can just connect them together as needed.

Should I just get a regular garden hose form Home Depot?
Is 5/8" hose good enough or should I go with 3/4"?

Thanks

I don't have but have seen good reports on Zero G hoses available in big box home improvement stores.
A boater friend picked one up and liked it.
Worth a look

I use a Zero G rated for Rv and marine use. Very flexible.

Thanks! That may be just the hose I'm looking for.

When it comes to "drinking/fresh" water hoses - is there anything different about those in comparison to a regular garden hose (like some special liner material)?

Yes...if you are buying new I'd go for a drinking water hose for city water connection and tank filling.
Any old hose for black tank flush if you have one. Different color helps keep them separate.
The normal white drinking water hoses come in different lengths. I have a short 8 inch? W spring support, 2 -10 ftrs and one longer one? All with quick connects that lets me choose a length that matches the need w/o a lot of extra to trip over. EZ & quick connect & disconnect.

Okay. I bought a "white" colored drinking water hose off Amazon, and that's the one I don't like. Maybe its just a cheap brand.

I have an "orange" hose just for the tank flush.

This hose is to be only for drinking water.

So you don't think the "Zero G" hose is acceptable for use for drinking water?

The only difference in the RV/Marine hose and the standard is that the RV/Marine is a 1/2" hose where the standard is 5/8". At least that's the only difference I see.

The Zero-G is definitely the way to go !

Back some time ago after having/buying a ton of cheap hose's..........I finally just bit the bullet and ordered a couple of these water hose's.......
https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/HoseTool.htm
You will not believe the quality/flexibility of their water hose product's ! This will be the last water hose you will ever buy! Money well spent for me........the cheap hose game is over!
I have had a couple of the different brand's of the expanding hose's but not to hook up the RV to.........everyone of them in time explode.....!
After reviewing for some time, I ordered these from Amazon

Copy and paste this in Amazon:

ALL NEW 2017 Garden Hose 50 Feet Expandable Hose With All Brass Connectors, 8 Pattern Spray And High Pressure, {IMPROVED} Expanding Garden Hose

No... to the contrary zero G is highly recommended and drinking water rated.
My only point was I like the flexibility of using shorter hoses and combining them where necessary.

Here it is on Amazon. Even at $40 it is worth it to me to ditch the Camco medusa.

Looks like I was wrong about the difference in the Zero-G RV hose and the standard hose. The specs now say the RV hose is 5/8" also!

Recommendations on fresh Water supply hose

X4 for the Zero G. The marine version is 5/8” and drinking water safe Have had for over a year with no issues. Love the flexibility. These are not the expandable type that blow up, but collapse flat and can be rolled/ folded similar to a fire hose

Thanks for the link. You saved me a lot of trouble.
i had a Zero-G hose in my Amazon cart after the first suggestion, but I had a regular Zero-G hose. You link is for an "RV" Zero-G hose. So I had the wrong one in my cart.

All is good now. Item ordered, and on its way.

Thanks.
