Recommended oil for 2002 Ford 3.8l v10 Triton?

Does anyone know what viscosity oil is recommended for a 2002 Ford 3.8L v10 Triton engine? I'm doing some maintenance on my son's 2002 Monaco Monarch 29ft RV with that engine, however, all the manuals & docs included with the RV do not say anything about oil type in the specs.

Thank you.

Some of my vehicles have the oil weight listed on the oil cap filler. Also, you could always call Ford.

That's a pretty small V-10.

Ford specs 5W30 for the 6.8l V10

That said, ours runs very well on Rotella T6 5W40 which has much higer wear resistance. And, since we use it in most of our other vehicles and stationary engines, its always on hand.

I believe the 5-20 recommendation is a recent change to help the vehicle meet CAFE standards. 5-30 is still recommended in the V10s used abroad.

I use 5w30 mobile one.
Also, I can never find the part number when I want to, but they make a double size oil filter that fits.
