Refrigerator slide out

Bottom of slide out, corner nearest refrigerator, is peeling off. Getting a few wood splinters along with what looks to be duct tape. Area is about 3 to 4 inches square. This is on 08 Diplomat, 40 PDQ. Is this an adjustment issue or a remove the slide issue or a patch job with some epoxy or lacquer? Any insights?

is that slide a flush floor on does it have rollers?

If rollers, it looks like one has dropped down and slide is scraping on frame of coach.

Once you get the rollers repaired/adjusted, consider something like Guardian plates from Talin

To answer your question, I don't think there is any reason to remove the slide.
