Refrigerator water

We have a four year old, four door, 12 cubic foot, propane/electric refrigerator that comes in many RVs. Lately, the drawers on the bottom collect a lot of water. Don’t remember this happening before. Any idea on where it’s coming from? Doesn’t have ice maker or water connection. If you’ve had this problem, how’d you solve it?

Warm moist air is getting drawn into food compartment and condensing

Door Seals/flapper ....not closing off/leaking
dirty, worn out, doors out of alignment

Food compartment drip tray ....
Not draining or drain hose in outside compartment is not inside the drip cup or if it is end of hose isn't in water ----warm air coming in thru drain hose

Cold air out/warm moist air in

Yes, what O-B said. Our cooling fins drip tray has a drain hose that has a small orifice at it's end...no drip cup. This orifice, or in some cases, a duckbill flapper can get clogged with food debris or algae. Condensation can backup and overflow the fin tray.

Our pervious coach had the drain hose cup. A thin layer of vegetable oil helped hold cup water vaporizing to a minimum, stopping warm air from going up the hose causing excessive frost on the fins. We could then go the whole season without defrosting.

Yes, check the tray under the fins at the top it should drain the water outside somewhere but they can become clogged. Ours also developed a leak at the fitting that drains water out of the tray to the outside. A bit of glue and all was well.

Everything seems to be in order. Will monitor water level in tray didn’t know existed. If it doesn’t drain, will disconnect and put air pressure down the hose.
