Relocate 75 gal water tank?

The water tank is located underneath the queen bed frame, but we'd like to see if we could move the tank back against the far left wall of the bedroom. Is moving the tank possible?

Maybe. You'll need to look at how its secured and also the plumbing to see what needs to be moved.

Also consider the weight distribution. Water weights about 8 lbs per gallon.

Go buy a different RV. Almost a impossible job.

Right, and we plan to travel with the tanks empty, so the weight distribution will be negligible. The only concern is the potential issue with maybe also having to move the water pump and/or electrical wiring. We've got experience with both to a degree. Haven't taken the bed apart yet though to get a really good look under there.

You may be right. But it's worth investigating at least.

As long as the water pump remains at or below the level of the bottom of the tank, it shouldn't have to be relocated (as long as it's not currently in the spot you want the tank to occupy). My water tank is behind the rear axle; my pump is behind the front axle, 16' away. It primes and pulls water from the tank with no problem.

I assume that you want to gain the storage space under the bed, but what is currently in the location where you want the tank to go? You'll be losing that space.

Well we ended up deciding not to monkey with the location of the tank, and just buy a queen mattress for the bed. We have a king at home and have grown spoiled by all the extra sleeping space, but we can survive with a queen.

If it just ends up that we are bumping into each other all night, there's an alternative. We just build out the bed frame and turn the entire bedroom into a bed.
