Has anyone every taken out a couch in a RV and replaced them with swivel chairs? We have a 2005 Winnebago Journey. Thanks

Sure. The trick is that the couch can be disassembled (sort of) in place, which allows it to get out the door. The chair or chairs may be able to be attached to the floor using some of the couch hardware. If the chairs are heavy or if they are on carpet, they probably won't move around while driving. Now, if you are concerned about them flying around in a serious accident, then you will have to figure out how to attach them.

I replaced our couch with two Fjord recliners and a small table this past spring. Disassembled the couch prior to removal. Chairs went in complete. Also removed the original swivel recliner and am planning for that space this winter.

Many people do this. LazyBoy recliners come apart in two sections and are very easy to get in the door. They would be a lot more comfortable than swivel chairs and they can also almost lay flat for extra sleeping space. In our area there was an excellent Veterans Day sale at LazyBoy. Watch for sales.
