This would be my first suggestion, especially if this occurred after driving through heavy rain. If you're agile enough, there is usually room to crawl under the coach and sit upright behind the generator, after you slide it out. This is where you'll locate that connector. Take a small bag with some side cutters (for zip ties) some new zip ties, a rag and maybe some air in a can. Before the project, pick up a small tune of dielectric grease from any auto parts store. Disconnect the plug, clean and blow it out well and then apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the connection.
If you can, use a zip tie to secure it out of the way of any wheel spray.
