Repacing Safety Chains on My Demco Tow Dolly

I need to replace all 4 of the safety chains on my tow dolly because they are all very rusted and hard to work with, as well as "ugly". Has anybody done this and what is the best and most reasonable source to find replacements?

If they are not unsafe apply some heavy oil or light grease to make them easier to use and look better.

Stainless steel chain can be had at marine stores. $$$$$$

Vinyl coated cable is also acceptable as a substitute for chains.

Your local hardware store will have a good selection of chain, and taking a trip through E-Trailer will at least give you ideas.
