I bought an Amtifo A7 to replace ours. While I haven’t installed it yet, it looks like after removing the Weldex that I can just lay the Amtifo monitor over the hole and use the provided rear clamping mechanism to hold it in place.
Ultimately I might need to 3d print a holding frame or fabricate a metal bracket of sorts to insure a good snug fit.

And being he Amtifo is witless, no need to worry about making the Weldex camera cabling work.
That project is on my to-do list sometime after I get my RR leveler jack and pump reinstalled.

Our factory installed Weldex monitor and 3 camera system were providing inferior video quality compared to todays standards, it was one of the first mods we did after purchasing our gently used motorcoach. Additionally, I did not favor the size and location of the monitor and mounted it atop the dashboard. With the much larger screen we have a view of both side cameras and rear camera at the same time while going down the road. Did contact Weldex initially but ended up purchasing a 4 camera system from Amazon, wired it directly to 12 volt power, it also has recording capabilities allowing it to do double duty as security cameras.

I am also looking to do an upgrade like this. Can you provide info on what you purchased?

As mentioned in post #2 above - I designed and 3d printed a bezel that fit a newly purchased Amtifo A7 kit in place of the OEM Weldex monitor (and camera system) in our ‘02 coach.

The replaced Weldex monitor was the 5.5” diagonal black and white.

For anyone who wants to do similar, PM me and I’ll send you the .STL.

I printed this in black. ABS on a Bambu Labs P1S. Took about 2 hours. I now need to identify screw lengths and sizes which hold the assembly to the dash.
FWIW - there are alignment tabs on the back of the bezel that align the assembly squarely over the hole for the old Weldex.

The monitor is now powered from the headlight switch, and the camera is powered from the rear running lights.
