Replacement Door Handle/Lock with Keypad?

Does anyone know of a replacement door handle/lock of this style that has a keypad for true keyless entry? Mine is electric and has a fob but would really like the convenience of a keypad.

It appears you have a TriMark 030-0900 ? ...GO HERE. If so, you can add their e-ASK System where you can integrate a keypad (see options at the bottom of the page).

I think I remember a few threads pertaining to this on the forum but can't find them right now. Maybe somebody else can give you better guidance on this or if I can find the threads, I'll post again.

I turned your photo right-side-up below:

Here are the search results for "Trimark" and "keyless".

https://www.google.com/search?q=%22T...earch=irv2.com

Maybe your answer lies within.

Radar,

I also have the same lock and I'm wanting a keyless power actuator.

Trimark notes on their website that our lock is adaptable for a power actuator but I can't find any further info.

030-0900 Motor Home Entrance Door Hardware With Deadbolt | TriMark Corporation

I have sent multiple e-mails to Trimark regarding the actuator but no replies.

I will call in the next few days to try to get an answer..

If you or anybody has any further info please advise...

Further to follow....

I stumbled upon rvlock.com a little while back. Haven’t made the purchase yet but I plan to. Can’t speak to their quality though.

That is the issue we are wrestling with...."Quality". We really want to update our old style key lock with a keyless entry but the nagging quality issues are keeping us from moving that direction. I have read all the reviews and forum posts on these locks and they seem to be all over the spectrum on quality and longevity. Would love some real world up to date feedback.

So I got a response from Trimark... Well sort of:

"If you are wanting to put electronics on your unit that currently does not have it you will need to go to a local RV dealer and have one of their technicians look at it to make sure your unit is capable of having electronics on it."

I try to call tomorrow to clarify....

for OP: I found in my files some information about the TriMark e-Ask System that I referenced in my previous post. I'll attach it below.

It appears you can add the e-Ask System to the TriMark "030-0900 Motor Home Entrance Door Hardware With Deadbolt" which appears to be the door lock you have ...? go HERE

e-ASK from the TriMark website

Attached is the Brochure for the e-Ask System and an installation guide from what I've found in my files:

eta: well, I didn't read all of Vato's posts before I posted so I guess you'll have to take his/her lead. You still may find what I've attached interesting, however.

This thread may have some useful information.

As has been noted, there is no replacement handle for that model. But since you already have actuator, it's just a matter of adding a keypad and hooking it up.

You might also have some luck searching for SCS and Winnebago keyless entry. Winnebago used to use SCS systems, but they failed a lot. Once they were out of business, Winnebago actually made up a harness to convert from SCS to Trimark. There's threads out there with information about the update that might be helpful in upgrading your system.

No disrespect meant, I just truly don’t understand/know...do these have a key bypass? If not why would you want a lock that fails when you have a wiring problem or your batteries die when you stay a little too long at a boondocking site and lock you out of your coach? I know I am missing something because these are so popular, what is it? Thanks!
