Replacement for Weber BBQ
After about 200 years my Weber Baby Q has had it. I have replaced some parts over the years and could rebuild this one---- if I wanted to. So what are some of the other BBQ's RVers are using? Nothing too big, maybe small smoker/grill?
any thoughts on the small Blackstone?
Thanks

I have a Q clone, Nexgrill, in the RV and at home. Bought at Costco for less than $100. Very happy with both.

Weber Jumbo Joe is what I'm packing.
Obviously, I'm got a gas grill fan!

I have had two weberQs. Just replaced with the new Napoleon Q table top. Much mere flexible with two burners and larger grill area. Folded it is the same width as the little Weber and only an inch or two taller. Love it!!!

I went with a campchef pro 30. Gives me the option to do grill, griddle, pizza oven or use a big skillet/pot.

I have the same decision to make. I am thinking a 22 inch Blackstone instead of the grill and the issues with keeping it clean. The one I'm looking at has a hood for windy days.

If Blackstone is your choice go with the 22" ----- dual burner! I also like the GMG Davy Crockett smoker.

This is what I've been using since 2019 after various Weber kettles, a pellet pooper and a Hasty-Bake. As grills go, the Hasty-Bake Portable was the best but I needed to get away from charcoal for almost daily usage. I added GrillGrates and the Monument turned out to be very, very good in heavy usage, at least 200 days a year.
The Blackstone is a propane griddle, not a grill. IMHO you'd just as well cook on a griddle on your stove indoors or buy a cheap Lodge griddle and put it on your grill when desired.
I smoke on a proper smoker.

We have the Napoleon small portable grill. Solid construction build, excellent ... nothing rusts.
Easily comes apart for cleaning. It is a little heavy but very manageable. Never had to replace anything & keep it maintained. Fits in the sliding basement tray. Has 10 foot hose to quick connect directly to motorhome propane tank.

Two years ago my little LP bottle ran out in the middle of cooking a chicken. Enough was enough so I went out looking for alternatives. Found a Traeger pellet cooker and have been very happy ever since. It is a little heavy so installed a slide out drawer in one of our bays. The drawer was made for heavy auto batteries and works perfect.

I had a Mr. Steak from Bass Pro for several years. We decided to get another type. So, we purchased a 22" Blackstone last September.
We switched because the Mr. Steak was getting heavy wheeling in/out of the rear of the toy hauler. The Blackstone can break down into 3 pieces to carry out and setup.

Even with the hood, wind will still blow out the flame or affect the temps to take longer to cook.
